Two Injured in Highway 26 Crash West of Elsie

At least two people were injured on Friday on US Highway 26 in a two vehicle crash.

According to reports the accident occurred when a 1997 Acura Integra driven by Carlos Martinez Cortes, 19, eastbound on Highway 26, went out of control and hit a 2014 Mercedes on the westbound lane. The Mercedes was occupied by two adults and three juveniles at that time.

We extend our sympathies to the injured and hope they recover quickly and completely.
